Shane Hille
HEAD COACH
Shane has over 25 years of coaching experience, being involved with Blackwood Tennis Academy since 2018. Shane has been Head Coach of multiple clubs in South Australia including Bridgewater Tennis Club, Aldgate Tennis Club, and Stirling Tennis Club, having also coached at Millswood Tennis Complex for many years. Furthermore, Shane spent over 5 years at Kooyong International Tennis Academy under head coach Glenn Busby. Shane comes with a wide range of knowledge and experience.
Shane is a Level 2 ATPCA fully qualified coach and has undertaken further studies under the guidance of Tennis SA.
Olivia Gray
ASSISTANT COACH
Olivia has been playing tennis at Blackwood Tennis Club since 2016 and has coached at Blackwood Tennis Academy since 2022. Furthermore, Olivia has previously coached netball and tennis at St John’s Grammar School from 2020-2023.
Olivia is an experienced and competitive tennis player having played Premier League Junior Girls at position 1 in 2021 and 2022, before moving to Seniors in 2023. Olivia was Junior Girls Club Champion from 2019-2022.
Olivia is a friendly, encouraging coach keen to see young players develop their skills and have fun.
Henry Gray
ASSISTANT COACH
Henry has been playing tennis at Blackwood Tennis Club since 2016 and has coached at Blackwood Tennis Academy since 2021.
Henry is a talented and skilled tennis player having played Premier League Junior Boys at position 1 in 2022 and 2023. Henry was Junior Boys Club Champion from 2019-2022.
Henry is an approachable, supportive coach looking forward to seeing young players build confidence and enjoy playing tennis.
Lachlan Bell
ASSISTANT COACH
Lachlan has been a member of the Blackwood Tennis Club since 2015 and has been coaching at Blackwood Tennis Academy since 2022.
Lachlan is a talented tennis player who played Division 1 Junior Boys in 2022 and 2023 at position 1. Lachlan was the Division 2 Junior Boys Doubles Club Champion in 2017 and 2018, and the Division 2 Junior Boys Singles Club Champion in 2019.
Lachlan is a friendly and encouraging instructor eager to see young players progress and have fun playing tennis.
